Movie Clip:
- A symbol that consists of an animation.
- Create or load an object, right click it, and choose "convert to symbol" (or just press F8). Then choose "movie clip."
- Then, in the time line, insert a key frame to the next frame or location of animation and choose a motion tween or a classic tween.
- This can be used to display moving text and objects in a flash animation.
Button:
- An interactive object that the user can interactive by hovering the mouse over it or by clicking on it.
- Create or load an object, right click it, and choose "convert to symbol" (or just press F8). Then choose "button."
- Then, double click on the symbol in the library and go to the timeline to edit the buttons values when it is hovered over or clicked on.
- This can be used to allow users to make selections to navigate a web page.
Graphic:
- Similar to the movie tool, but it allows the editing and transformation of an image. Selected areas of an image can change or be separate from main image.
- Create or load an object, right click it, and choose "convert to symbol" (or just press F8). Then choose "graphic."
- Then, the user can perform the instructions mentioned in movie clip to create animations. To edit an image, high light the area of the image that needs editing, and adjust the image as desired.
- This can be used to edit certain parts of images in order to help enhance a graphical event and to get a specific created image desired for the flash file.
